I was so sad to learn of Ms. Mable's passing. She was a true southern lady, a real 'magnolia' and always carried herself with such class. I admired her sweet disposition and she has such a way with people. I worked with her at ReMax in Statesboro and we kept in touch after we both moved on. She loved real estate and enjoyed dancing and life in general. I know the world stood still for a few seconds as this lovely soul ventured up to heaven.

We moved to Georgia from Maine in 2009 and Mabel was our first friend and neighbor. We thought of her as our family and we will miss her so much. We are so blessed and proud to say we knew her and she was a part of our life..even just for 2 years. When I think of Mabel the first word that comes is mind is 'classy'.. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Love Randy, Wendy & Amber Wasson

i was so sorry to here Saturday of ms.Mables passing . She is now in a better place with our Lord and savior. I have known her and her best friend , Lottie for over 10 years .I first met Mable in the shag club .she and Mrs.Lottie would come to the dance party in a Limousine.I would have so much fun dancing with her over the years .she always was ready to party and have fun. After doing her business affairs, she always made time to meet with her fun friends and enjoys life.i really think this added years to her life . I will always have fond memories of her sweet smile and fun loving personality.I can see her now in heaven and dancing with all her friends and loved ones on the streets of gold. She will truly be missed by all her shag and dance friends. Farewell ,my dear friend . My prayers go out to Sharon and the rest of her family .

It seems the sun has lost it's shine but don't the stars at night seem brighter! My heart goes out to the family and friends of Mabel. I know it must be difficult to go on without such a beautiful example of near perfectness. Oddly my most cherished moments of Mable were sitting at her bedside at Azalealand as friends came through. Always a lady, coy as a handsome Carson handed her flowers, 'for me?' That cell near by in case Boots had any new news! The Chef, I don't know your name but I saw your Halo. She impressed me as I listened to her stories of her vast knowledge of a Sav'h era gone by. Witty, beautiful inside and out and that infamous spark in her eyes as she told stories of a her wonderful life with her love and since. She spoke of the days of Remler's Club, 'real friends' like Lottie and Davis, her love of dance and how her sweet Daughter was strong as if she didn't know where that came from? I think she tried to make it easier on us all by saying, 'I have lived!'

She was a great lady. Always ready with a smile and a laugh.

I am sadden to hear the news that Mable has past. What an inspriation she was ~ Always on the the go, Dressed to the 'T' with a smile on her face and twinkle in her eyes. She was one of the hardest working women I knew. Always had a plan and always thinking of her 'next move'. I am very thankful that she and Inman were some of the the first people we meet when we moved to Statesboro. She will truly be missed by many! Our Thoughts & Prayers to her family. I'm glad that Ms. Mable isn't suffering anymore. However, I am so sorry to have lost such a sweet woman. She impacted my life in the few weeks that I worked with her at Azalealand Nursing Home. She was fashionable and said that I reminded her of herself when she was younger. She also taught me to enjoy life. I'm praying for her daugter and family , as well as her best friend that stood by her side. It was an honor to have known her. I love you Ms. Mable !
